About the JobAs a Sr Strategic Origination Manager, you are responsible to initiate and develop strategic opportunities for the company through the search, identification, and screening of potential investments, acquisitions, and business partnerships. This role aims to ensure a strong opportunity pipeline aligned with the company’s long-term strategy, while creating sustainable value for shareholders and stakeholders.Job Responsibilities:Identifying investment, acquisition, joint venture, or partnership opportunities that align with the company’s strategy.Building relationships with potential partners, investment banks, consultants, and the industry ecosystem to expand the opportunity sourcing network.Analyzing industry trends, competitor developments, and market opportunities to uncover valuable strategic initiatives.Conducting initial screening to assess the financial, commercial, and strategic feasibility of an opportunity.Acting as the primary liaison with external stakeholders during the early stages of discussion.Preparing presentations and initial recommendations for senior management regarding strategic opportunities.Systematically managing the strategic opportunity pipeline and ensuring priorities are aligned with the company’s business direction.Providing insights and regular reports on the development of the origination pipeline to senior management.Collaborating with the Deal Execution team during the due diligence, valuation, and negotiation process after an opportunity passes the screening stage. Providing strategic context to ensure transactions align with the company’s long-term direction.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economy, or Industrial Engineering.Master's degree is a plus point.8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, or Business Development.Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and develop strategic business opportunities.Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activities, and potential risks.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities.Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term value creation for shareholders and stakeholders.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.About Kawan Lama GroupEstablished in 1955, Kawan Lama Group is a multi-sector group of companies who are constantly innovating for improving the quality of lives.
