Job Description

Operations Manager to join a reputable small investment company based in Gibraltar. The role has will be hands on and have dual responsibility, you will be the day-to-day Operations Manager and alongside that you will act as the Compliance Officer. You will ideally have worked in the Financial Services sector before in a compliance/administration capacity. Further down the line there will be an opportunity to be appointed MLRO (subject to FSC approval).

Corporate Actions - Forward to clients any actions received from custodian Transaction Reporting - Report any trades the business is required to report. Scanning. CRM Reconciliation - Reconcile Client Relationship Management software. Ad-hoc Fees - Debit fees as required. Negative Accounts – Review.

Nominee Fees - Take nominee fees on first business day. Investor Compensation Scheme - Send return to FSC. Valuations - Check valuations for pricing errors and dispatch to clients. AML Monitoring including high-risk accounts, Politically Exposed Persons and Accounts from high-risk countries for suspicious behaviour. KYC monitoring for new client applications. Costs and Charges Statement. Consolidated Tax Certificates. Office Insurance monitor and renew. AML Systems and Controls review. AML Pep reports (MLRO duty). Dealing Slip Review including review of random dealing slips. Performance Reports communicated to all clients providing performance report. Procedures Manual Review.

Ensure prompt settlement of trades and other depositories. Archiving including scanning correspondence into electronic scanning system. Client and custodian liaison and resolving their administrative queries. Static Data, amending bank account details, addresses, emails etc. Updating of database. Stock Movements. Dematerialisation and materialisation of share certificates. Courier Bags - Arrange couriering of documents to custodian. Payments - Process payments via BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT or cheque. Probate Applications (small numbers arise). Refreshments - Purchase tea/coffee/sugar/sweetener/milk for machine as required. What You Will Need to Succeed in This RoleHold a relevant Degree or Higher Education certificates.

Ideally have worked in the financial services sector before. Work efficiently Demonstrate good communication skills. Be Accurate and have high levels of numeracy.
