We are looking for a newly qualified mental health nurse or an experienced nurse looking to further their professional development, to join Pavilion Ward PICU. For Newly Qualified Nurses, our Preceptorship Programme will help give you the very best start in your transition from Student to a Registered Nurse.Pavilion Ward is a 10 bedded, male, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). We primarily work with individuals who are aged 18-65 and we are located within Mill View Hospital in Hove.As a staff nurse, you will have opportunities to deliver patient-centred care supporting patients in their recovery. You will be a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team undertaking detailed assessments of patients with complex mental health needs. You will be expected to administer and monitor medication.We work flexibly in order to meet the needs or our 24-hour service, to include evenings, nights and weekends.You will be working alongside an established and experienced multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
