Staff Research Associate 3, Animal Technician Lead

The role of the staff research lead position involves assisting with the coordination of activities involving staff, students, and volunteers within the Surgical Research Facility (SRF) on the UC Davis campus. Working under the general direction of the SRF Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the efforts of multiple Principal Investigators (PIs) who utilize the facility. It includes collaborating with other departments and the Operating Room (OR) Supervisor to ensure that the SRF meets its objectives, complies with regulations and guidelines, and serves investigators and clients effectively. This role also includes Administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely charge capture for all services within the service area of responsibility. The staff researcher will provide support for the research activities aimed at developing innovative advancements utilized in clinical trials and enhancing the understanding of various diseases through research conducted within the Surgical Research Facility.
