The Infrastructure and Systems testing team builds and maintains the foundation that enables all Zivid developers to move fast, safely, and with confidence.About The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role, combining deep technical work with technical leadership and team enablement. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our CI/CD systems, test infrastructure, internal tooling, and automation, ensuring scalability and robustness as our developer organization grows. You’ll help the team take ownership of the systems that power everything from build pipelines to hardware-in-the-loop testing, while guiding long-term strategy for how we scale CI/CD, testing, and developer experience across Zivid.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and operation of internal infrastructure tools and systems for building, testing, and deploying our software and firmware.Act as a technical guide and enabler, helping the team make good decisions and take full ownership of solutions.Maintain and scale our CI/CD setup (GitHub Actions, Docker, self-hosted runners) with 40+ on-premises runners/hosts.Define and drive infrastructure strategy, how we build, test, release, and scale.Improve developer efficiency by automating workflows, minimizing CI queue times, and reducing test flakiness.Strengthen testing capabilities for embedded systems integrated into our CI pipelines.Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and vision teams to ensure frictionless integration.WE’RE LOOKING FORExperience leading or shaping CI/CD and infrastructure strategy in a growing tech organization.Strong coding skills in Python and Shell scripting, C/C++ is a plus. Deep understanding of build pipelines, Docker, GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI, and modern DevOps tooling.Strong background in testing embedded or hardware-related software within CI is a plus.Mindset for developer enablement, building systems that empower autonomous teams.Familiarity with monitoring, scaling, and optimizing build/test infrastructure.IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVEUnderstanding of C++ or embedded software build systems (CMake, Bazel, etc.)Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Chef, Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad).Experience with virtualization/cluster management platforms (Proxmox) is a plus.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).Experience with virtualization of Windows machines on Linux host using Vagrant.Familiarity with developer experience and productivity tooling at scale.WE OFFER Build the backbone enabling world-class 3D vision systems from Oslo.Shape how we build, test, and release software and firmware for robotics.Work with real hardware and complex system interactions.Enjoy a friendly, inclusive, and passionate engineering culture.Competitive compensation package, including sign-on stock options, competitive pension scheme and premium health insurance.Social events like climbing, running, cage ball, movie night, and company cabin tripsExcellent workplace canteen Deadline: 15th of December.
