Work you will do?As an Assistant Manager in our Statutory Audit team you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teamand clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include but not limited to:Handling and executing external/ statutory audit engagements of various clients in line with Auditing & Accounting standards as per firm's methodology;Assisting and/or working on assignments individually and in teams to ensure gaps and overlaps are minimized where auditable areas span multiple business units;Identifying issues, offering suggestions and discussing with seniors to resolve them;Being able to prioritise assignments deadlines and responding to clients and firm's needs. The landscape for Audit reporting is changing fast, driving demand and evolving our services. Profile Qualified Chartered AccountantMust have strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards and be abreast with current trends in marketsAt least 5 years of experience in AuditAbility to prioritise, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguityShould have good presentation & communication skillsShould also be well versed with MS Office toolsShould be open and honest in communication with clients and colleagues Should have good knowledge on IFRS Accounting Standards and ISAs ;Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach. Should develop sound technical skills & keep up to date with changing legislation during the review period Demonstrate ability to lead teams and ensure successful results Should have solid understanding and ability to apply risk and control concepts Has the ability to flourish in a fast-paced, complex environment and willing to adapt to change
