Candidates in this role will be exposed to medium to large size steel projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, health care and research facilities, stadiums and arenas.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for structural analysis, and design steel connections.Coordination of design and detail work with in-house engineering staff in the US.Coordination of design and detail work with Tekla modelers, as well as other design professionals in the US.RequirementsDegree (Master’s preferred) in structural or architectural engineering; an undergraduate in engineering is required.Knowledge and passion about Steel structure design.Ability to use and learn US based design codes.English communication skills required, verbal and written.Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work independently.Thornton Tomasetti is proud to be an equal employment workplace.
