Job Title: Stock Manager – 3PL Food LogisticsLocation: B76 (West Midlands)Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annumOverview:Our client, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider within the food sector, is looking for an experienced and analytical Stock Manager to join their operation in the B76 area. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with at least 5 years’ experience in stock control or inventory management within a fast-paced logistics environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the stock control function across a high-volume food logistics operation.Maintain stock accuracy through robust processes, reporting, and system integrity.Analyse stock data and system reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations, ensuring full audit compliance.Work closely with warehouse, transport, and customer teams to resolve stock-related queries promptly.Drive system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the network.Support site audits, KPI reporting, and system optimisation projects.Lead, coach, and develop the stock control team to ensure operational excellence.About You:Graduate calibre with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in stock or inventory management within logistics, preferably 3PL or food distribution.Strong analytical mindset with experience using analytical systems and reporting tools.Advanced Excel skills; experience with WMS and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) is desirable.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Proven leadership and team development skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management across operational and customer functions.What’s on Offer:Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience).Opportunity to join a leading 3PL food logistics provider with a focus on innovation and data-driven performance.Excellent career progression and development opportunities within a growing business.
