Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:·Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.·Support the dining room/lounge employees in accommodating the needs of the guests.·Work with dish station employees to ensure adequate supplies are available.·Maintain general cleanliness of station and entire venue.·Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.·When necessary clean out all polishing equipment using proper cleaning chemicals and supplies.·Change garbage, recycling, and broken glass bins when necessary.·Empty compost into composter when needed.·Ensure all stations are stocked to par and inform manager when inventories are low.·Maintaining cleanliness of restrooms when bathroom attendants aren't scheduled.·Properly sets-up polishing station and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including:Stocks side-stations with prescribed suppliesPerforms opening side-work as prescribedPerforms closing side-work as prescribedReports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings.Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example.Portrays a positive and professional attitude.Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners and supporting hotel environments.Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assignedTraining Requirements·Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Stocker/Polisher training.Education/Working KnowledgePrevious hospitality experience preferred.Previous Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred.Skills / Physical Demands / Work Environment / ScheduleAbility to write and verbally communicateMust have good positive energy throughout the dayMust be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to readMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to move quicklyMust be able to push and lift up to 50 lbs.Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volumeMay work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be requiredExposure to cleaning materialsMay work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be requiredOffice, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working environmentMaintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standardsMust be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous mannerAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
