Job Description

Job Summary:The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all tools, equipment, and supplies for The Smokery’s operations. This includes tracking inventory levels, ensuring proper storage conditions, issuing materials to relevant departments, and coordinating with the purchasing and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of tools, equipment, and materials.Ensure all items are stored safely, labeled accurately, and organized systematically.Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, usage, and movements through inventory management systems or logs.Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.Issue tools and equipment to departments upon authorized requests and ensure proper return and condition.Monitor the condition of tools and equipment and report any damage, loss, or maintenance needs.Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for replenishment of materials and equipment.Maintain cleanliness and order within the storage area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Support the Maintenance and Operations teams by ensuring timely availability of required tools and parts.Assist in preparing inventory and audit reports as required by management.Qualifications & Requirements:Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or restaurant industry.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Familiarity with inventory software or Excel-based tracking.Basic knowledge of tools, kitchen equipment, and maintenance materials.High attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Working Conditions:Location: The Smokery, New CairoReporting To: Supply Chain DirectorWork Schedule: Full-time; flexibility may be required during peak operations.
