Strategic Advisor to CFO

About The RoleAs the Strategic advisor, you will support the CFO with key finance work programmes. The role focuses on refining the outyears forecast model, supporting long-term planning, embedding a new cost allocation method, and helping improve Finance team processes and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the CFO with delivery of key strategic finance programmes.Refine and enhance the outyears forecast model for long-term planning and scenario analysis.Provide insights to support the annual report, strategic planning, and budgeting processes.Identify efficiency gaps across Finance and help implement improvement initiatives.Implement and embed improved cost allocation methods.Conduct variance analysis and scenario planning.Work with business units to align financial strategies with organisational priorities.Contribute financial insights to workshops, planning sessions, and change activities. You’ll HaveA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA desirable).Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic finance work.Understanding of public sector financial frameworks is a plus.Ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for non-financial audiences.Collaborative, analytical, and proactive working style.Experience improving financial processes or cost allocation models is advantageous.ContactAll inquiries and applications to Archway Recruitment are treated in the strictest confidence.
