Strategic Procurement & Automation Project Manager, Regional Logistics

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Strategic Procurement & Automation Project Manager to manage procurement efforts and automation and infrastructure investments for Shopee Express. This role will be responsible for designing and executing procurement strategies, running tenders, evaluating vendors, and ensuring successful project implementation from end to end.Strategic Procurement:Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimise costs while ensuring quality and efficiency in logistics operationsCraft, manage, and run procurement tenders, ensuring a competitive selection processConduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and selection to drive cost savings and performance improvementsEstablish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to secure long-term strategic partnershipsDevelop and enforce procurement policies and compliance standardsProject Management (Automation & Infrastructure Investments):Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standardsMonitor and report on project progress, proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standardsCross-functional Collaboration & Reporting:Work closely with legal, finance, operations, engineering, and regional leadership teams to align procurement and investment strategiesAnalyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficienciesProvide regular updates on procurement and project status to senior management, highlighting key progress, challenges and resolutionsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, project management, or related fields, preferably within logistics or e-commerceStrong sense of ownership and ability to hustle to clear roadblocks and manage issues proactivelyWillingness to travel across Asia frequently as most projects are overseasProven experience in running procurement tenders and vendor negotiationsStrong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading automation or infrastructure investment projectsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
