Your new role As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, your responsibilities include:Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost reduction, supplier innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.Maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and consistently share relevant insights with internal teams and support strategic decision-making.Access supplier strengths and identify new sources across technologies and regions to support evolving business needs.Create commodity business plans and lead initiatives that deliver measurable financial impact and support long-term growth.Implement standardised sourcing procedures, select suppliers early in development cycles, and use metric tools to enhance efficiency and supplier collaboration. What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree required with a minimum of 10 years in procurement leadership and global strategic sourcing.Proficient in business and data analysis, contract and tender management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead transformation initiatives, drive consensus, and implement process changes that enhance business outcomes.Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and SAP; Power BI proficiency is an added advantage.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.Highly driven and eager to grow exponentially in their career, with openness to travel across Malaysia and SEA.
