Role SummaryBased in Shanghai, this position leads the strategic sourcing of garment and accessory lines across Asia.The role combines strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM), and high-performing supply chains aligned with the company’s global objectives.This newly created position will elevate supply-chain operations into a data-driven, value-oriented, supporting growth, innovation, and sustainability.Key Responsibilities1. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key suppliers.• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and implement supplier performance scorecards (cost, quality, delivery, innovation, sustainability).• Launch supplier development programs to enhance technical capability, process control, and compliance maturity.• Ensure adherence to social, environmental, and regulatory standards (including ESG and traceability requirements).2. Data Analytics & Systems Integration• Build and maintain supply-chain KPIs and dashboards (OTD, defect rate, claim rate, inspection pass ratio, development lead time, etc.).• Use data analytics, forecasting, and cost-modelling tools to generate insights supporting procurement and quality decisions.• Lead the digital transformation of procurement through ERP/MRP systems, supplier portals, and reporting automation.• Supervise data analysts to ensure reliability and accuracy of supply-chain metrics.3. Leadership & People Development• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team covering sourcing and data functions.• Define objectives, conduct evaluations, and build talent pipelines and succession plans.• Drive change management and operational excellence through Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs.• Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration between Asia and Brazil teams.Reporting Lines• Reports directly to the Asia Director for all Strategic Sourcing activities.Qualifications & Experience• 8–12 years of proven experience in strategic sourcing and quality management within the apparel, textile, or accessories industry.• Minimum 3 years managing regional supply bases across Asia (China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, etc.).• Strong command of supplier evaluation and SRM governance.• Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).• Proven leadership and people-management experience, including remote or field-based teams.Languages & Location• English: Business fluent (mandatory)• Mandarin: Highly desirable• Role based in Shanghai, with regular travel within Asia.Core Competencies• Strategic mindset and analytical thinking• Negotiation and stakeholder management• Cross-cultural communication• Process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)• Supplier collaboration and risk management• Digital and data-driven decision making
