But before our motorcycles can achieve success on the racetrack, they must first be developed, analyzed, and tested down to the smallest detail – and that’s where you come in. As a Structural Analyst and Test Engineer, you are part of this process and responsible for the virtual and physical evaluation of our MotoGP chassis and engine designs. You perform FE analyses (static and dynamic), assess and optimize designs, further develop our FE model database, and evaluate the structural feasibility of new concepts. In the testing area, you plan and conduct stiffness measurements, develop test procedures, analyze results, and correlate simulation and test data. You also support the continuous improvement of our test bench hardware and software. With your technical expertise and passion for motorsport, you play a key role in ensuring that our motorcycles deliver top performance on the track.THE TASKS AWAITING YOUCalculationVirtual evaluation of strength, stiffness and other structural performance of MotoGP chassis and engine designs using FE analysis (static, dynamic and fatigue) and analytical calculationsDesign review and optimization, evaluation of concept feasibility, maintenance and development of FE model databaseTechnical evaluation and reporting of structural analysis resultsTestingStiffness measurements of MotoGP structural componentsDefinition and development of test proceduresTest execution and reportingTechnical evaluation of test results, virtual analysis vs. test correlationMaintenance and development of test bench hardware and softwareHow You Can Inspire Ussuccessfully completed technical education in the field of mechanical engineering (TU/FH)first professional experience in the field of calculation, simulation, structural testing and measurement of components is an advantageideally experience with Abaqus, Hyperworks, FEMFAT and LABviewhigh motor sport affinity as well as very good English skills in word and writing.
