Structural CAD Drafter (Homebased)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Structural CAD Drafter to produce high-quality technical drawings and construction documents for structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills and experience working on diverse structural projects from concept through construction.ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed structural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details using 2D CAD and 3D RevitCreate construction documents for steel, concrete, and wood structural systemsDevelop reinforcement schedules, connection details, and fabrication drawingsIncorporate structural engineer's calculations and sketches into final construction drawingsEnsure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codesCoordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts and maintain drawing consistencyPerform quality control checks on own work and assist with team reviewsMake revisions based on engineer feedback and design changesMaintain organized project files and documentationSupport construction administration by preparing revised drawings and responding to field questionsQualificationAssociate degree in CAD/Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical trainingMinimum 3 years of professional drafting experience on structural engineering projectsExpert proficiency in 2D CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent)Strong proficiency in 3D BIM software (Revit Structure preferred)Solid understanding of structural drafting conventions and standardsExperience drafting for steel, concrete, and wood structuresUnderstanding of structural engineering principles and construction methodsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlinesNice To HaveFormal training or certification in CAD/RevitExperience with structural detailing and shop drawing productionFamiliarity with U.S. Building Codes and construction specificationsKnowledge of additional software tools (Navisworks, Bluebeam, etc.)Experience with bridge or civil infrastructure projectsUnderstanding of construction sequencing and means/methodsPrevious experience working in an engineering consulting environmentAdditional InformationHomebased, must have at least 25 mbps internet connectionM to F, 9pm to 6am Manila Time
