Company DescriptionSPACE GASS is a structural engineering software company based in Geelong, Australia.Through our software products SPACE GASS and Structural Toolkit we provide software for structural engineers to undertake complex analysis, design economical structures and save them time.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Structural Engineer - Training & Sales The role is ideal for someone that loves Space Gass and Structural Toolkit and wants to spend all day helping users get the most from the software! You should be friendly, proactive and happy to talk to users both online and face to face about the technical aspects of engineering and our software.Applicants must be based in our Geelong office or Hybrid in Melbourne and willing to travel 2 days per week.Training Preparation of training content and planning of future courses and seminarsUndertaking both in person and online training for our customersPutting together technical content to feed into marketing effortsRunning webinars on new featuresTravel across Australia for in person training and customer visits.Sales Responding to trial downloads Sales demonstrations Represent Space Gass at Industry Events Proactive sourcing of new leads and opportunities SupportAnswering typical support questions for Space Gass and Structural ToolkitProviding feedback to the development team for new featuresAssist customers to get the most from our SoftwareQualifications4+ years' experience in a consulting or sales engineering role A strong grasp of the technical aspects of structural engineering4 years' experience with SPACE GASS and Structural ToolkitAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently.Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringExperience in preparing videos, content or training content is a plus.
