Working with a portfolio of blue-chip clients, they are known for their collaborative, family-feel culture and for providing a supportive environment where everyone contributes to the success of the team.The practice currently comprises six dedicated structural design teams, offering fantastic opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and to progress within the business.The RoleAs a Structural Design Engineer, you will be a key member of one of the structural design teams, involved in delivering projects through the full life cycle — from concept and detailed design through to construction and completion.You will have the opportunity to work on diverse, technically challenging projects, while being supported by experienced colleagues and senior management who actively encourage continuous professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed structural designs and drawings for a variety of building projects.Design and detail structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure coordinated design delivery.Carry out design reviews and value engineering to optimise solutions.Contribute to project meetings and provide technical input throughout the project life cycle.About YouDegree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or above).Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural design, ideally within a consultancy environment.Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable, or actively working towards chartership (full support provided).Strong understanding of Eurocodes and relevant design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Tedds, etc.).Excellent ability to draw beams, produce clear drawings, and demonstrate how structures work.Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Full support for CPD and Chartership.Clear career progression pathways within an expanding consultancy.Collaborative, friendly, and family-oriented working environment.Opportunity to work with prestigious blue-chip clients on exciting projects.24 days holiday + bank holidays, rising every 2 years and extra loyalty days.Pension 5%Private medical, life insurance Bus & train ticket scheme + cycle to work schemes.
