SPECIFICATION          An opportunity is available to join a well-established Civil & Structural Engineering Company - NAKO LBE as a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering and design of concrete and steel structuresBEng / BSc Eng degree in Civil EngineeringRegistered as a candidate at ECSA, professional registration will be an advantageValid driver’s licenseRESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables and managing the submission of competitive proposals.Functioning as part of a project team, liaising with other professional team members, other engineering disciplines, and contractors.Planning and management of the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality.Understand contract administration documentation based on NEC3 / NEC4.Detailed structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures.Review, update, and modification of drawings.Previous working experience in the engineering development, design, and construction of various projects in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power Generation Plants) will be an advantage.  PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfactionGood planning and organizational skills.The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.Applications are open for South African citizens only.Location: Secunda, Mpumalanga.Should you meet all the requirements, please email a detailed CV including copies of your qualification/s and ID to hr.lbe@nakogroup.com
