Structural Engineering Lead

Together, we stay nimble, and remain committed to delivering innovative, sustainable and resilient solutions that improve communities, one project at a time.EXP Arabia is seeking a versatile, experienced, and reliable “Structural Engineering Lead” with the following requirements:Expert in the design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.Expert in preparing load calculations and design reports following direct project input.Expert in preparing and maintaining structural specifications to reflect project requirements.Meet with vendors to get exposure to specification requirements for different applications.Initiates coordination of space and utility requirements with other disciplines (PL, MX, Arch, Elect, etc.).Maintain the discipline Engineering Calcs and concept direction for the project.Initiate structural calculation and report templates as needed.Lead project Construction Administration/Supervision for the structural discipline when required.Exposure and general awareness of risk management procedures to minimize EXP and client’s exposure.Exposure to work planning and tailoring design process to the available hours in work plan for a project.Leads the delivery of structural engineering deliverables from pre-concept and into construction documents.Work with PC, PM, and Clients to meet scheduled project milestones.Manage and deliver drawings and revisions for various milestones.Understands and properly applies existing EXP details relevant to projects.Ability to comprehend drawings of other disciplines (MX, PL, arch, Elec, civil etc.).Applying EXP standards and practices (IE: training materials, OneNote, etc.) to each project.Market Sector – Experienced in preparing proposals and supporting business development.Commercially well versed to lead business development relevant to structural engineering.Supports in the structuring and maintaining of staffing relevant to their discipline.Attend to project sites and construction meetings and provides technical input.Positively contributes to EXP and local office culture.Proficient and well versed with the Saudi Building Code.Background and Qualifications10-15 Minimum Years of Experience in Structural Design and Engineering in Saudi Arabia.Holder of a degree in Structural Engineering from a reputable institution.Active member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.Proficient and well versed with the Saudi Building Code.Non-TechnicalProfessionalism: Appropriate written and verbal communications skills.Professional presentation external and internal to office. (IE: attire, engagement, meeting prep, etc.)Demonstrates presentation skills through internal and external technical presentations and white papers.Leads participation in voluntary training opportunities such as vendor lunch and learns. (IE: engage and ask questions)Positively contributes to EXP and local office culture.Self-starter, team collaborator, and overall value-added.
