Structural Steel Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Steel Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Structural Steel Design, with specific expertise in Steel Connection Design. The role involves working closely with Consultants and Fabrication as well as Erection teams to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural steel design and Connections solutions for complex projects.Key Responsibilities:Perform structural analysis and Design of Steel Structures and Steel connections Design in accordance with AISE & Euro CodesTechnical Coordination and meetings with Consults until obtaining approvals for the Design/Connections Design Calculations and Shop DrawingsReview Shop drawings and models to ensure accuracy and constructabilityCollaborate with design, detailing, and fabrication teams to resolve technical queriesPrepare and verify design calculations, connection sketches, and technical reportsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and project specificationsProvide technical support during fabrication and erection stagesOptimize design solutions for material efficiency and constructabilityQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering3-5 years of proven experience in Structural Steel Design & Steel Connection DesignTechnical Skills:Proficiency in IdeaStatica, ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.ProStrong understanding of design codes such as AISC, Euro & Local UAE Minimality RegulationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsKey Attributes:Strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamGood time management and organizational skillsCommitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
