Company Description STS Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing memorable cultural exchanges for high school students wishing to visit and study in the US. Founded in 1986, we have placed thousands of foreign high school exchange students from over 40 countries, fostering mutual understanding and empowering young people through cultural exchange. We take pride in our personal approach with students, host families, coordinators, and schools, maintaining a high reputation in international education and cultural exchanges. STS Foundation is a designated U. S.
Department of State exchange program and is fully accredited by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET). Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Local Coordinator, located throughout the U. S. with some work from home flexibility. My team is in Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Alabama. I encpurage you to apply if you live in any of these states. The Local Coordinator will be responsible for mentoring high school exchange students, advocating for the nonprofit’s mission, and building lifelong relationships through student exchange programs.
Day-to-day tasks include screening and selecting host families, providing support to students and families, conducting orientations, monitoring student progress, and promoting cultural exchange within the community.
