The Engineering Intern will collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and work with various Engineering teams to develop, deliver, and administer solutions. The Intern will enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment in a highly motivated team. We are looking for a team player who is able to learn quickly, is self-motivated, and has excellent analytical abilities. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to several key enabling functions in the Global Engineering Services Organization, including Business Intelligence Development, Tool Development Projects, Data Analytics & Reporting, Google Apps Script Development, and Tools enabling Project Management of Engineering Projects.The Intern should be familiar with data analytics with excel and experience with PowerBI is an asset. A strong programming background (on various software platforms) is an asset.Preferred SkillsStrong understanding of Excel/Google Sheets.Knowledge of programming (Javascript or Python preferred).Excellent analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Strong customer service orientation.Strong communication skills.Strong self-motivation.Experience with PowerBI is an asset. We are prepared to provide full training for those without prior experience. It is expected that at the end of the internship, the intern will be a fully trained PowerBI data analyst. Experience developing custom Google App Scripts is an asset, but not required.Experience with SQL is an asset, but not required.
