Position OverviewThe candidate will oversee the Student Success domain’s operations while also providing support to the Team Lead/Functional Head. In addition, they will contribute to the overall management and administrative functions of the office.Key Responsibilities Support with vision, direction, leadershipHelp identify and prioritize student issues and domains of student-life needing additional support to enable student-success at LUMS.Create short-term and long-term plans for resources, programming and support for the identified populations/ domains.Identify concerns with student engagement and develop plans to consistently improve it. Support with thought leadership, capacity-building, and collaborations:Support Team Lead in creating new programs or making modifications to current programs based on input.Support Team Lead in building collaborations with new stakeholders on campus to develop, enhance or modify support e.g. logistical support for programming, developing resources and program manuals, making available best practices, participating in committees and boards when appropriate, etc. Lead 75% of the operations involved in running existing and new programs:Ensure smooth running of SS programs by managing logistics including but limited to hiring and managing student partners, communicating and coordinating with stakeholders, conducting check ins on assigned programs. Manage SS events, resource development and related operations, coordination and execution:Lead the planning and supervision of SSI events throughout the academic year.Supervise operations to ensure all events run smoothly.Develop and sustain effective relationships with partners and executors of our programs.Develop and update SSI digital resources through research and coordination with other relevant stakeholders, and also develop means for the dissemination of these resources.Create effective marketing plans to deliver SSI programKnowledge & SkillsExperience with setting up a new program or initiative.Familiarity with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks and methods.Understanding of Problem Tree and Theory of Change (ToC) approaches for program design and evaluation.Background in a relevant field (e.g. educational studies, developmental psychology, public policy, etc.).Leadership and autonomous functioning.Willingness to learn and grow (both through self-learning and through feedback).Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
