Travel is required for this position. The Substation Inspector will assess and inspect electrical substation infrastructure to ensure operational safety and compliance with required standards. Responsibilities include verifying adherence to electrical codes, conducting quality control inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring proper functionality of electrical systems, and preparing detailed inspection reports. The role requires strong attention to detail and collaboration with engineering teams to address any issues identified.QualificationsProficiency in Electricity and a deep understanding of Electrical Engineering principlesKnowledge of Electrical Safety practices to ensure safe work environmentsExperience in Quality Control and Code Enforcement related to electrical systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and reporting abilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in electrical inspection or engineering are preferredFamiliarity with substation operations and systems is a plus
