Job Description

Minimum QualificationsGrade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and National Cert level 4 for adultsRequirementsGrade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and or National Cert level 4 for adultsHave advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft OfficeHave 5 years minimum experience in a Bonus Department environment and at least 3 years being within the mining industryHave an understanding of mining terminology and organizations principlesMedically fit to work in the specific business areaClear security screening recordValid driver’s license (if applicable)Advantageous QualificationsLevel 6: Diploma and Advanced Certificates National Diplomas and Advanced Certificates Business, Commerce and Management StudiesKey ResponsibilitiesESG Compliance Align to international responsible mining principles. SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs). SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.SHE Compliance Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. SHE Management: Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department. Participate in regional/local bodies and decision-making forums in the process developing a business relevant external environment, that will result in the longer-term sustainability of the Division. Quality Management System (QMS): Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.Focus on safe production & operational excellence Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence Improve our position on global industry cost curveBuilding a values-based organisational culture Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.Financial Management Cost Savings: Leading and driving cost saving and cash conservation initiatives. Remaining competitive on the global cost curve for surface operations.Stakeholder Relations Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and crossfunctionally. Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders. Page 2 of 4 Liaising with the necessary entities on any management related requirements and alignment where applicable. Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes.Bonus Scheme Administration & Management Supervise the accurate input of required information onto Incentive/Bonus systems ensure accurate data reporting to minimise risks Liaison with central payroll/Incentive services for effective overall system and ensure accurate daily and monthly Incentive reconciliations between payroll and bonus payments Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bonus Department by ensuring fair distribution, execution, and scheduling of workload in the department Advise line management on their incentive/bonus queries. Effective two-way communication with fellow team members and assist in providing and supporting on-the-job training requirements to all Incentive employeesAdditional RequirementsAMFAM membership will be an advantage
