Supervisor (HVAC-VRV) – MEP

Job Purpose:Supervise and manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) and DX (Direct Expansion) HVAC systems across multiple sites. Lead a team of technicians, ensure high-quality work, maintain safety standards, and optimize system performance.Key Responsibilities:Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage HVAC technicians; delegate tasks and ensure timely project completion.Installation & Commissioning: Oversee installation of VRV/DX units, refrigerant piping, valves, and electrical connections; ensure proper commissioning and system functionality.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance, detect faults, and resolve issues with compressors, airflow, refrigerants, or electrical systems.Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure installations meet industry standards; enforce safety procedures and proper PPE usage.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of installations, maintenance, refrigerant usage, and submit detailed performance reports.Requirements:Education: Technical degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.Experience: Minimum 5 years in HVAC system installation/maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Skills:Deep knowledge of VRV/DX systems, refrigerant management, valves, and electrical integration.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to integrate HVAC systems with building management systems (BMS).Effective communication with team members, project managers, and clients.
