To find more information about Aptiv, please visit www.aptiv.com.Position Summary:The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for conducting supplier audits, approving samples, monitoring APQP activities, and resolving quality complaints. The role includes coordinating collaboration with suppliers and supporting continuous quality improvement across all company locations.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and manage supplier performance, develop and publish data reports and present data at site reviews;Supplier quality complaints: judge 8D reports and Problem-Solving Tools analysisSupport Cost Recovery activities between Supplier and AptivPlan and conduct supplier audits, evaluate quality systems and processesMonitor implementation of corrective actions and improvement measuresApprove samples and processes according to PPAP/PPF requirementsOversee and verify APQP activities (P-FMEA, control plans, process flow)Support and push under-performing suppliers in their improvement activitiesManage supplier changes processing (Supply Suggestion Change RequestServe as main contact for APQP activities with assigned suppliersSupport internal and external audits and project reviewsAssess and validate supplier production capacitiesSpecial tasks: e.g. execution of internal activities (development of procedures; support of internal & external audits)Policies & procedures: Ensure that Aptiv policies and procedures are followedSupport local SCM activities related to material procurementRequirements:A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Engineering/Technical Sciences preferred)Professional experience of minimum 3 years of Supplier Quality, Advance Quality or Quality Area in Automotive Industry Knowledge of Quality and Problem Solving tools Flexibility and travel readinessFluent in EnglishDriving license category B Aptiv Rewards & AdvantagesInteresting career in a leading, world-recognized companyOpportunity to professional growth and personal development in an international environmentAbility to implement own ideas and solutionsApply today, and together let’s change tomorrow!
