A Snapshot of Your DayAs Supplier Quality Engineer you will support the Grid Technologies Execution Unit “Service” in our Regions to serve the growing business and its supply chain.Supporting the business by conducting supplier qualifications with audits & assessments, performing project / product specific approvals and developing the supply base, is integral part of your daily contribution. By closely supervising the quality of results and performance of suppliers, you are ensuring they are in line with our quality program and will improve the efficiency of our company!How You’ll Make An ImpactSupporting our Service procurement organizations and its regional set-up in all SQM related aspectsSetting up the SQM relevant processes and all relevant SQM elementsCoordinating and leading Supplier Quality topics through collaborative activities in cross-functional teams to support procurement and project strategyPerforming supplier qualifications incl. supplier audits in acc. to IMS standards and / or VDA6.3.Driving Non-Conformance Management and root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures as well as supporting risk analysis according to product safety regulationsInitiating and implementing supplier quality improvement measuresIncreasing transparency on ScNCC´s (Supplier caused Non-Conformance Costs) and drive reduction programs and supporting related claim activitiesImplementing and negotiating GQA´s (Global Quality Agreements)What You BringBachelor´s degree preferably in electrical engineering or comparableStrong professional experience as quality engineer or engineer with practical experience in project businessesProfound knowledge in Quality controls & Auditing (Lead auditor or at least 1st and 2nd party auditor for ISO 9001 and preferably also for ISO14001 & 45001)Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies, qualification as QMiP (Quality Manager in Projects) is welcomeIntercultural experience, motivation to work with multicultural teams and willingness to travel globallyExcellent communication skills in English.
