A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the material field of Large Steel Fabrications, you are a team player with leadership qualities within the purchasing department. You will conduct qualifications of suppliers located worldwide and will also deal with complaints in day-to-day operations by performing root cause analyses and implementing preventive and risk mitigation measures. In this role, you will collaborate in a global environment with diverse cultures and various departments at both local and global levels.How You’ll Make An ImpactLeading a cross-functional team to conduct product and process qualifications at suppliersMonitoring supplier quality performance, analyzing quality incidents and risks, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measuresInitiating and implementing quality improvement programs at suppliersIntegrating purchasing-related aspects into the product development process, promoting early supplier involvement, and ensuring that supplier feedback is considered in product definitionPlanning and conducting regular supplier auditsWhat You BringUniversity degree in an engineering/technical fieldQualification as an International Welding EngineerSeveral years of professional experience in Supplier Quality Management or ManufacturingIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing and testing processes for welded large componentsKnowledge of SAP modules in Materials Management and Quality ManagementFluent English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are nice to haveWillingness to travel around 20-25%, both nationally and internationallyAvailability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remoteAbout The TeamOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.You will work in a dynamic team of approximately 20 quality engineers in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
