Key responsibilitiesForecasting and planning:Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management to maintain a balanced flow of goods. Supplier management:Manage relationships with suppliers, research fair pricing, and negotiate contracts. Cost reduction:Identify areas for cost reduction through process improvement, new routes, or better supplier agreements. Performance monitoring:Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance to management. Collaboration:Work with various departments, such as logistics, procurement, and production, to ensure smooth operations. Process improvement:Help implement new tools and processes to streamline operations and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making. Risk mitigation:Monitor the supply chain for potential disruptions and develop plans to mitigate them. Data analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Skills And QualificationsAnalytical skills:Ability to analyze complex data and use advanced analytics tools to model and predict outcomes. Communication skills:Clearly present findings and recommendations to management and collaborate effectively with other teams.
