Supply Chain Coordinator III

Position Summary: Provides support and analysis to Strategic Sourcing’s category management by reviewing, analyzing, documenting and validating category requirements, applications and processes. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business growth in the current and new revenue streams.Major Responsibilities:SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Pull drawings and prepare RFQ packages for Category ManagersPrepare and load spreadsheets for RFQ analysis by Category Mgrs. Perform commodity/part price updates in the ERP system(s)Perform data base maintenance and miscellaneous dutiesMonitor and report supplier spendUnderstands department initiatives and strategies. Assists on project execution as needed under leadership of Category Mgrs. Assists Category Mgrs. in commodity management activities, as neededSupplier Communication and information collection as necessaryPrepare spend analytics and other reports as neededDevelop variance review process and track price monthly, identify uncaptured savings. Measure savings compliance across Direct Sourcing team. Database maintenance and accuracy for Strategic Sourcing KPI dashboards, SharePoint sites and other data driven sources for metrics related to Sourcing activities. Facilitate cadence meetings w/ Commodity Managers and Sourcing executivesAnd other Strategic Sourcing related activities driven by Sourcing Director. Required Education / Experience / Skills: Education requirement: 4 year degree related to supply chain, logistics, business, engineering or manufacturingMinimum 2 or more years of experience in purchasing and/or sourcingExcellent communication skillsBasic analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to be a team playerWorking knowledge of ERP and database level systems, as well as knowledgeable in the use of electronic collaboration toolsAdvanced Word, Power Point and ExcelAbility to function well in a rapid paced, multi-task environmentFlexible and can work on tight schedule.
