Job: Supply Chain Executive-StoresLocation: Chiplun Detergent FactoryWL: 1BReq ID: R-85093SummaryThe role of Supply Chain Executive will be to manage all logistics activities in the area for stores. The scope includes warehousing, transportation of raw materials (RM) & packing materials (PM ). The key objective of this role is to ensure efficient operations, cost effective solutions and high customer service standards are met through seamless supply chain management.
Responsibilities Ensure compliance with safety, quality & environment regulations across all sites within the region Implement best practices on people, process & technology fronts at store locations Drive operational efficiencies by adopting standard operating procedures, ensuring right manpower levels & implementing systems/tools to improve performance Manage day-to-day operations of multiple stores with focus on delivering exceptional customer service while optimizing costs Lead cross functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency & reduce inventory holding costs Work closely with manufacturing team & buyers to develop plans which drive sales growth without compromising on profitability due to excessive discounts or freight costs etc Plan & execute periodic meetings with senior leadership teams from both areas to review progress & align strategies Negotiate rates for various service related activities and timely completion of agreements Handle periodic stock audits and documentationsQualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG industry with exposure to end-to-end supply chain management including warehousing, transportation Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred Proven ability to lead large teams spread over diverse geographies Excellent communication skills with fluency in English& Hindi language required; additional languages would be advantageous Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail & proven problem solving capabilities Proficiency in MS Office suite applications like Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
