Trademark Recruiting is conducting a search for a highly respected Manufacturing company headquartered in Tampa, who are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Lead that will report to and work closely with the Director of Supply Chain. This is a high visibility role offering long term growth potential within the organization. Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in inventory control.Job Description: Supply Chain Operations Lead Department: Supply ChainReports To: Director of Supply ChainLocation: Tampa, FLClassification: Full-timeMissionMaintain optimal material availability, accuracy, and compliance to ensure seamless production flow and high supplier performance.Key ResponsibilitiesShipment Coordination & TroubleshootingTrack daily inbound shipments, confirm carrier scheduling, and resolve delivery issues.Manage pickup forms, 3PL scheduling, and freight cost approvals.Maintain live open PO tracking and inbound shipment dashboards.Receiving OversightOversee receiving operations ensuring accuracy, documentation, and system entry.Validate materials against POs and ensure proper receiving within ERP.Item & BOM ManagementManage UPC assignments, item creation, and BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy.Maintain accurate and up-to-date item masters, UPCs, and BOMs.Conduct quarterly BOM audits for accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with Procurement Lead to ensure BOMs align with the latest packaging and ingredient specifications.Vendor Performance & ComplianceConduct quarterly vendor scorecards and performance evaluations.Ensure supplier compliance with certifications and documentation (COAs, specs, FDA, FAMA).Forward compliance documents to Compliance Lead for centralized recordkeeping.Inventory & Flow CoordinationWork closely with Procurement Lead to synchronize inbound flow with production demand.Support stock counts, product aging reviews, and expiration reports.Identify and resolve material flow bottlenecks or system discrepancies.Process Documentation & ImprovementDevelop SOPs for receiving, compliance, PO workflows, vendor onboarding, and forecast planning.Propose process improvements for efficiency and accuracy (e.g., carrier routing guide, receiving issue tracker, BOM cleanup).QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.3+ years of experience in supply chain coordination, receiving, or logistics.Strong ERP data management experience (GP, SalesPad, or equivalent).Knowledge of BOMs, item setup, and inventory control practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong process documentation discipline
