Role DescriptionThe Supply Chain – Logistics – Coordinator ensures the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. This role involves coordinating transportation, inventory, and supplier relationships to meet production and delivery timelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global logistics environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.Manage and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any transportation or customs issues.Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.Prepare and verify shipping and export documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory levels, and delivery schedules using ERP or logistics management systems.Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and material availability.Analyze logistics data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement in supply chain operations.Ensure compliance with trade regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Manage communication and issue resolution with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Support the planning and execution of supply chain improvement projects and sustainability initiatives.Assist in vendor performance evaluations, maintaining quality, cost, and service standards.Provide regular status updates and reporting to management regarding logistics KPIs and project milestones.Support inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes through data analysis and best practice implementation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or transportation management.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and international shipping procedures.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and logistics software.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous improvement, sustainability, and operational excellence.
