We ship into major retailers like Sobeys and Loblaws, and we’re known for quality, precision, and a cult-like fan base. As we expand, we need an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead the complex engine that moves our pickles from jar to shelf.Role OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager will oversee the full supply chain lifecycle—procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and retailer order fulfillment—while also building out the systems and processes that will carry us into our next stage of growth.This role is built for a professional with 3-6 years in supply chain and logistics, ideally in the CPG food & beverage world, who has led ERP/EDI integrations, managed retailer compliance, and simplified operations with software. It’s a hands-on position with real growth potential as the company scales from $2M to $5M+.Key ResponsibilitiesLead supply chain planning, warehousing, and logistics execution across Canada with retailers like Sobeys, Loblaws, and our distributors.Own ERP/EDI onboarding and optimization, ensuring workflows, compliance, and reporting align with retailer standards.Build and streamline the supply chain tech stack (ERP, WMS, inventory, logistics tools) to reduce manual processes and improve scalability.Set and review KPIs (OTIF, fill rates, retailer scorecards, ASN accuracy); build dashboards for visibility and accountability.Partner with Finance and Operations on chargebacks, invoicing, and retailer compliance.Ensure supply chain operations reflect a premium brand experience for retailers and consumers.What You’ll OwnRetailer & DC LogisticsManage day-to-day logistics into Sobeys and Loblaws DCs nationwide.Book delivery appointments, follow routing guides, and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) shipments.Manage DC scorecards and prepare documentation to dispute/mitigate fines.Carrier & Freight ManagementManage TransX, 3PLs, and backup carriers.Own BOLs, PODs, COAs, pallet labels, CHEP reconciliation, seals, and temperature set-points.Ensure cold-chain integrity so product always arrives with premium quality intact.Inventory Control & Shelf LifeImplement FIFO/LIFO, cycle counts, and batch/lot traceability across warehouses.Monitor shelf-life and rotation to avoid write-offs or out-of-date product.EDI & DocumentationOversee 850/855/856/810 orders and invoices through EDI.Maintain <1% ASN/EDI error rate to avoid fines and rejections.Ensure flawless accuracy in UPCs, coding, and pallet specs.Cold Chain & QualityMonitor temperature logs, stacking standards, and warehouse handling practices.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on any leakers, damage, or compliance issues.Implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues and protect consumer confidence.KPIs & Continuous ImprovementCase-fill ≥ 96%OTIF ≥ 95%ASN/EDI error rate < 1%Zero missed cycle counts; batch traceability maintained 100%Fines successfully challenged/recoveredWho You Are3-6 years in logistics/supply chain, with direct ownership of retailer DC shipments.Proven track record with Sobeys, Loblaws, or other national grocery retailers.Hands-on expertise with BOL/POD, DC appointment portals, ASN creation, and EDI systems.Strong knowledge of FIFO/LIFO inventory practices, cycle counts, and batch/lot traceability.Experience in CPG food or beverage (cold chain strongly preferred).Understands that logistics is brand: you protect presentation, freshness, and compliance at every step.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Logistics: 3-6 yearsInventory management: 3-6 yearsCPG Food: 3-6 yearsLocation:Toronto, ONThis role is remote but will require regular visits to our warehouse near Pearson Airport, along with occasional visits to partners and buyers.
