Supply Chain ManagerLocation: GalwayIndustry: Medical Device / Regulated ManufacturingType: Permanent | Full-TimeOverviewAn established and expanding organization within the medical technology sector is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations. This role also plays a key part in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence across the business.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management within a regulated or medical device environment, and will combine strategic vision with strong hands-on operational leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain ManagementLead all supply chain functions including procurement, inventory control, demand and production planning, logistics, and distribution.Develop and implement supply chain processes aligned with business objectives.Manage and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.Oversee inventory and warehousing to support growth and product availability.Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).ERP System ImplementationServe as the supply chain lead for ERP system implementation.Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Quality to define supply chain requirements and workflows.Support data migration, process mapping, and user acceptance testing.Provide training and post-implementation support for end-users.Identify and help resolve supply chain issues during and after ERP go-live.Leadership & CollaborationLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.Partner with internal stakeholders (R&D, Sales, QA) to align operations with business objectives.Drive cost savings and efficiency through strategic sourcing and lean methodologies.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in supply chain management within a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.Proven experience leading or supporting ERP implementation projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Priority, etc.).Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement best practices.Understanding of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, or equivalent).Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
