Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement and production to logistics and distribution. This role ensures that products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in vendor negotiations, process optimization, and leading cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing operations.Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.Lead contract negotiations to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Optimize transportation and distribution networks to minimize lead times and costs.Implement and manage ERP or supply chain management systems to streamline operations.Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, promoting continuous improvement and accountability.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management.Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.In-depth understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and supplier management.Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS, or CSCP) is an added advantage.
