Supply Chain Manager

Talgo is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The role is permanent employment with Talgo at the workshop in Almaty. It is currently a leader in this segment: it is the leading supplier of high-speed trains in Spain and is among the main companies in the sector worldwide.You can read more about Talgo here: https://www.talgo.com/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Inventory Oversight: Manage material inventory including location tracking, expiration monitoring, and handling of expired items.Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Ensure accurate data entry for inbound/outbound materials and coordinate transfers between centers.Procurement & Supplier Management: Requisition materials via SAP, liaise with suppliers for deliveries, repairs, and complaints, and mitigate delivery risks.Documentation & Customs Compliance: Prepare and manage shipping documents, customs controls, and coordinate logistics with brokers to ensure timely delivery.Process Optimization: Collaborate across departments to streamline inventory levels, resolve invoice/waybill issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsHigher technical education;5+ years of experience in supply chain.SAP knowledge.Advanced English language skills.Benefits:Work schedule: 5/2, from 8:30 to 17:15 Medical insurance for the employee and 1 family member. 30 calendar days of vacation.
