JOB TITLE: Supporter Club Engagement LeadDEPARTMENT: Communications LOCATION: Main Locations: Stamford Bridge with international travelCONTRACT: 35 hours per week any 5 of 7 daysJob Function:To provide key stakeholder management with Official Supporter Clubs ensuring growth, development and enhancement of the programmeClosing date: 21st NovemberWe encourage you to apply as soon as possible. To avoid missing out, please submit your application at your earliest convenience.You’ll be (Main Responsibilities): Taking responsibility for delivering the regular activations, competitions and creating news stories in line with the Official Supporters Club content calendar. This would also include maintaining strong working relationships with all Official Supporters ClubsImplementing and delivering an official Supporter Club strategy, which would include delivering regular communications, initiatives, forums, activations and web and video content in line with the Fan Club content calendar. Provide reporting on supporter club growth, new clubs and engagement with clubs to build relationships with fans through multiple platformsSupporting the Head of Supporter Relations/Engagement on implementing a detailed strategy, to maximise acquisition, loyalty and build fan engagement throughout the seasonLeading the day-to-day management of the Official Supporters Club & Fan Club marketing functions, including generating engaging content & managing the rewards programme and web stories throughout the seasonMaintaining copy & information on Official Supporters Club & Fan Club webpages accuratelyWorking in partnership with the CRM team to build market specific commsManaging Supporters Club Admin (responsible for day-to-day contact with Supporters Clubs)Providing regular reports and updates on both Official Supporters Clubs, showing market breakdowns, MoM growth vs targets and competitor analysisSupporting the partnerships team in relationship management to deliver Official Supporters Clubs or Fan Club activations in international marketsMaintaining excellent supporter satisfactionMeeting seasonal departmental and personal targets & deadlinesGrowing the Official Supporters Clubs and members within themYou’ll have: (Experience required):Qualifications:A business-related degree would be beneficialExperience:Experience in implementing campaigns to help grow an audienceBuilding and delivering fan engagement initiativesProducing high quality communications to a broad audienceExperience in reporting and analysing dataExperience of working on projects with multiple stakeholders across a wider teamExperience of working with creative teams and/or agency relationshipsExperience in working across multiple markets/languagesStrong attention to detailDesired: relevant experience within sports/entertainment, or working with high-profile talentSkills and Behaviours: At least twelve months experience in a supporter engagement role in a pressurised sporting environmentExperience in working with complaints and feedback systemsWilling to travel overseas when requiredClear understanding of the business and able to adapt to new roles and requirementsExperience of equality and inclusion issuesIn return: (Benefits)25 days annual leave (+ Bank Holidays) After three years’ service, AL days increase to 28.Pension Contribution (5%)Life Assurance (4 x base salary)Private healthcare through VitalityC2W (Cycle to Work scheme)Chelsea Ticket Membership Program – enables employees to purchase tickets for home games 49 days prior to the matchFree staff lunches at Stamford Bridge (Mon-Fri)Discount on club and club-affiliated products (Megastore, Nike 25% discount, Stadium Tours, onsite bar/restaurant etc)Employee Assistance Program, Mental Health first aiders and a strong well-being communityOur commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: At Chelsea we recognise that the diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths and we are taking positive action to ensure our existing colleagues and job applicants can fully be themselves and bring their own unique experiences and perspectives to Chelsea FC.
