Surveying Engineer (Engineer Only)Micro Engineering Egypt (MEEG) – METI Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveying Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise field surveys, operating advanced surveying instruments, and processing spatial data to support engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities· Conduct field surveying operations, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys.· Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, Auto Levels, and Laser Scanners.· Perform data collection, adjustment, and analysis to ensure survey accuracy and reliability.· Process and interpret survey data to produce maps, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and related software.· Ensure quality control and data verification for all survey outputs.· Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide accurate spatial data for project planning and execution.· Manage field crews, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.· Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.· Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of precision and attention to detail.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, only.· Proven experience in field surveying and instrument operation (+7 years).· Proficiency with surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level) and related software.· Strong knowledge of surveying and mapping techniques.· Experience in geospatial data analysis and understanding of GIS applications.· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.· Strong communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.· Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies in surveying and geomatics.·
