Sustainability Manager

We are currently looking for a Sustainability Manager for our business partner operating in the chemical manufacturing sector."Job DescriptionStrong strategic understanding of corporate decarbonization, including the development and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction roadmaps, alignment with Science Based Targets and integration of low-carbon solutions across operations and the value chain to support the companies net-zero ambitionsLead the development and execution of the company's ESG and sustainability strategies in alignment with corporate goals.Oversee the preparation and submission of ESG and sustainability reports ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.Manage social and environmental audit processes, from preparation and coordination to post-audit action planning and reporting.Collaborate R&D, marketing and technical teams to support sustainable product and process development, focusing on emissions, chemicals, and water usageSupervise customer and third-party social compliance audits, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring successful completion and follow-up."Key Responsibilities:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Chemical(or related disciplines).Minimum 6–8 years of professional experience in ESG and sustainability, with at least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.Advanced knowledge of sustainability strategy, ESG frameworks, and regulatory requirements at both national and international levels.Strong leadership and management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and overseeing complex sustainability initiatives.Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior management, regulatory bodies, customers, and industry stakeholders.
