As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international environmental regulations, and driving our commitment to responsible business practices.Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and local Saudi Arabian environmental initiativesLead and coordinate sustainability projects across various departments, fostering a collaborative approach to environmental stewardshipConduct regular sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsCreate and maintain sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and report on achievementsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and build partnerships for environmental initiativesDevelop and deliver sustainability training programs to educate employees and raise awareness about environmental issuesStay up-to-date with emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our environmental performancePrepare and present regular reports on sustainability performance to senior management and external stakeholdersManage sustainability-related budgets and resources effectivelyEnsure compliance with local environmental regulations and international sustainability standardsRepresent the organization at sustainability-focused events and forumsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferredAdvanced certification in sustainability or environmental management (e.g., LEED AP, ISSP Sustainability Professional)Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability management or a related fieldProven track record in developing and implementing successful sustainability initiativesStrong knowledge of sustainability best practices, environmental regulations, and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB) and environmental management systemsExperience with sustainability software and tools for data analysis and reportingStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCollaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partnersFamiliarity with Saudi Arabian environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives is highly desirableFluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a plusAdditional InformationBeing a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture.
