SVP Operations Control - Funds

The Panel is working on a retained basis to source a Senior Vice President Operations Control for a leading global Funds organisation to join their First Line Control team. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and strengthen the risk and control environment while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will drive meaningful impact through the following:Strategic Risk Engagement: Partner with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize areas requiring enhanced risk and control oversight.Control Testing & Assurance: Develop and execute targeted work plans focused on high-risk areas, including the assessment and validation of key control design and operational effectiveness.Risk & Control Education: Promote a culture of risk awareness through tailored training and educational initiatives.Thought Leadership: Provide expert guidance on the application and evolution of the risk and control framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Agile Leadership: Lead and support ad-hoc initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and strategic insight.Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced degree preferred.Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, ideally within financial services, fund accounting, or Big Four audit.Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Leadership Impact: Proven ability to drive team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
