System Engineer

Job Title: System EngineerLocation: On-Site, DublinShift Pattern: Monday to Friday Rotating Days and Nights, 1 in 3 Sundays We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our client’s Engineering team and support the operational performance of the warehouse site. This is a critical, on-site role requiring strong systems knowledge, real-time troubleshooting capabilities, and coordination across multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:Manage order release and outbound process to ensure timely dispatchMonitor warehouse wave execution, replenishment, and pick routingCoordinate emergency orders and resolve warehouse queriesTroubleshoot operational and system issues in real timeProduce hourly and daily performance reportsSupport planned downtime and escalate issues as neededDrive continuous improvement across systems and processesRequirements:Ideally, 3+ years of process engineering experience (FMCG preferred) or 1+ years’ experience with appropriate degreeStrong analytical skills and system proficiencyExperience with Lean Six Sigma (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust be available for all shifts on-site (remote work is not possible)If you are a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d like to hear from you.About Us: Wills Consultants is an independent recruitment consultancy specialising in engineering, finance and office professionals.
