The positionSitaWare Aspire, our next-generation training platform designed for modern Defence operations, is expanding the team in Copenhagen, hence we are looking for our new Software Test Engineer.

Being our new test colleague, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of test and quality assurance of our products. This happens throughout the entire feature development phase and with your close cooperation with your developer team, and early test involvement. Together with the Test team in Systematic Defence, you will be the guardian of high quality standards and processes. Some of your overall responsibilities will be: Asking all the critical questions in the development process, understanding the assignment, ensuring close cooperation with all stakeholders e. g.

developers, product owners, designers, and project managersOwning the quality assurance and ensure that quality is built in from the beginningEnsuring new features have a testable designBeing responsible for establishing test strategies, create test cases from user stories, participate in risk analysis, ensuring requirements are met and tested alongside executing manual testingParticipating in all test activities like system test, bug hunt and integrations tests etc. Join the Aspire team in CopenhagenWe are establishing a new team for Aspire in Copenhagen.

Your QualificationsAs a our new Software Test Engineer, we expect you to be curious and be the one to ask the questions such as “how can this be tested?”, “how will this be useful for the customer?” when we are discussing the features. Furthermore, we are looking for someone, who will enjoy being part of a new team in Copenhagen by creating and contributing a good team spirit, both locally and across locations. Last but not least you should recognise yourself in the following:

Bachelor- or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similarExperience with software testing; either from a student job, internship or full time experience after graduation As a Test Engineer you will be working with a lot of different technologies. Some of them could be: JIRA, Xray and R4JLinux CLIBash and PowerShellDockerGitYou should be expect to be at our headquarter in Aarhus around 20 days a year.
