Systems Administrator

About the RoleWe are looking for a Systems Administrator to join Avicado’s IT team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across cloud platforms, communication tools, and enterprise systems. You will manage M365, Azure, Slack, and related IT services while driving automation, security, and user experience improvements.Success in this role (first 3–6 months):Stabilize and optimize M365 tenant, Azure resources, and Slack workspaces. I’mImplement automation scripts and workflows to reduce repetitive tasks.Establish clear documentation and add processes to the internal knowledge base.Partner with the IT team to support enterprise client projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange Online, Entra ID/Azure AD, security, licensing, conditional access).Manage SharePoint Online (site collections, permissions, governance, and user issues).Administer Azure subscriptions and resources, with a focus on security and cost management.Support and manage Slack workspaces, integrations, and workflows.Provide IT support for end-users, ensuring clear communication and excellent service. Automate repeatable IT tasks using PowerShell or other automation tools. 🛠️Document processes and contribute to the internal knowledge base.Requirements5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.Strong expertise in M365 administration, Azure, and SharePoint.Hands-on experience with Slack administration (org settings, workflows, integrations).Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.Experience supporting end-user services in a remote team environment.Strong documentation and process management skills.English fluency: C1 or higher.Based in Argentina, with the ability to work U.S. time zones, PST strongly preferred, that is 5 5-hour difference in Argentina.Preferred QualificationsExperience with automation tools (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Zapier).Working knowledge of JSON, APIs, webhooks, and programming concepts.Experience with Rippling IT Management (device/user lifecycle, provisioning, workflows).Familiarity with Notion, Zoom, SAML SSO, and SCIM.Compensation & LogisticsCompetitive salary in USD (to be confirmed). $40k-45kRemote role, full-time, aligned with U.S. time zones.Benefits: health insurance, 401k match, flexible PTO, philanthropic matching, and career development opportunities.Company OverviewAvicado Construction Technology Services is a technology consultancy helping construction owners maximize the value of their systems and data.
