In this position, you will serve as a systems engineer focused on achieving driverless vehicles. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements and designing tests as part of the verification process to ensure the reliability and performance of autonomous driving systems, which comprise perception, path planning, vehicle control, and other subsystems. We are looking for talented members who are dedicated to achieving results and have the ability to build strong teamwork.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members who possess diverse expertise to develop and define system requirements necessary for the design of autonomous driving systemsFormulate test strategies for the verification and validation of systems, and build and execute logical and consistent system tests to ensure safetyAnalyze and resolve requirement conflicts between software components that become evident through evaluationWork closely with software, hardware, and test engineers, project managers, as well as team members involved in vehicle service operations and business strategy to build and improve the development processUnderstand software development practices that produce maintainable code, including automated testing, continuous integration, and code reviews, and collaborate with the embedded software team during implementation to ensure requirements are metMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent experienceDeep knowledge of the software development process and system engineering V-process in autonomous driving systems or similar real-time robotics systemsExperience in requirements verification and validation testing, from the development of test cases to the execution of testsExperience in system development using C++ and LinuxCommunication skills that enable the clear and accurate conveyance of technical issues based on facts and principlesNICE TO HAVESMaster's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related fieldExperience in integrating software components in autonomous driving systems or similar real-time robotics systems. Experience in developing systems based on machine learning. Ability to apply functional safety concepts to systems by conducting FTA, performing FMEDA for hardware designs, and carrying out system-level FMEAExperience in fail-safe and fail-tolerant system designDeep knowledge of sensors (e.g., Lidar, Radar, Camera, IMU, DMI, GNSS)Knowledge of agile development methodologies and modern software development tools (e.g., GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins)Knowledge of ISO standards and UN regulations related to automotive safety=========================================================================Important Points・All interviews will be arranged via Google Meet, unless otherwise stated.・The same job descriptions are available in both English and Japanese; therefore, we kindly ask that you apply to only one version.・We kindly request that you submit your resume in English, if possible.
