Together with a multidisciplinary team, you design and test prototypes – from the initial concept to series production.Job DescriptionDeriving technical requirements from stakeholder needs and use casesDeveloping the system architecture of measurement systems in coordination with domain architectsAligning the system architecture and technology stack with domain and enterprise architectsPerforming requirements engineering for system requirements and associated tests (V-model)Supporting the development team in detailing and implementing the system designExecuting system verification tests and deriving necessary design adaptationsFurther development of the existing verification and validation test strategyContributing to the ongoing development of company-wide architectural concepts and principlesQualificationsCompleted technical or scientific education (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University, or University)Preferably several years of experience in architecture and system design in the field of metrologyExperience with system modeling and related tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect)Strong knowledge in requirements engineering and verification testing is an advantageBroad technological understanding (physics, electronics, mechanics, firmware, software)Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (C1/C2 level)Proactive and self-reliant working styleStrong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary teamWillingness to travel: 10–20%Preferably open to a multi-year international assignment (expatriate 1–3 years in GER, CH, or USA) at one of Anton Paar’s international subsidiaries following a comprehensive onboarding at the headquartersAdditional InformationA reliable and long-term workplace in our expanding and international high-tech companyAn innovative company culture that promotes technical excellence guaranteeing us the position of a technological leader in the global marketA value-oriented working environment that fosters friendly, supportive cooperation between colleagues and, at the same time, provides room for involvement, dedication and individual responsibilityIndividual training and onboardingWork Outside Office (occasion-related possibility to work outside the office)Professional and personal developmentWe offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market.
