Job Title: Tactical Support Officer (TSO)Company: G4S Cash Solutions (SA)Location: RustenburgOverviewG4S Cash Solutions (SA) is a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions and is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tactical Support Officer (TSO) to join our team in Rustenburg Reporting to the Branch Manager, the TSO will play a critical role in securing our company premises and assets and ensuring that all procedures are in line with our company policies and standards. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of maintaining company policies, adopting best practises, and exercising sound judgement to achieve the organisation's goals. The TSO must also have a strong understanding of the role of facilities management within a successful business unit and be driven by results while embodying the values of our organisation.Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain security at the premises by strictly adhering to existing security proceduresEnsure the highest level of access control at all property and building perimeters, as well as internal security areasStrictly adhere to loading procedures at all timesRegularly test panic buttons, alarms, and fence perimeters to ensure they are in good working orderConduct frequent after-hours security checks of the premises and gate guards, making OB records as neededAssume key holder responsibilities on a rotating basisManage vehicles, equipment, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure that all equipment used by operational staff is properly utilised and in good working conditionIssue and control firearms, ammunition, and seals to crew membersMaintain an accurate register of firearms, ammunition, and kitEnsure that all firearms have current licences and permits by regularly checking the competency of crew members and verifying serial numbers against the firearms registerControl the issuance of identity documents, firearm permits, and scanners, maintaining a register of all issued itemsMonitor staff adherence to SOPs for banking halls, payout services, and standby guard servicesConduct pre-departure checks of armoured vehicles and record findings on the check sheetProvide armed escort services as neededConduct departmental and criminal investigations as directedManagement Of StaffMaintain the image of the branch and company at the highest level possibleEnsure the morale and security awareness of staff is maintainedEnsure vehicle crew strictly adhere to all security measures and maintain a high level of systems and procedures while operating within a mobile, walking, or bank/client contact settingEnsure that crew members and drivers are in full uniform and fit to perform their dutiesParticipate in the design, development, review, implementation, and monitoring of departmental safety plansParticipate in safety forums and report all incidents to the relevant partiesFollow up on any assigned safety activities and attend safety education and refresher programmesComply with safety policies and procedures at all timesDistribute safety information as neededWear protective clothing at all timesMinimum Qualifications And ExperienceGrade 12Grade C PSIRA and CITFirearm competencyValid driver's licence and PDPKnowledgeG4S standard operating proceduresSouth African security legislationG4S operational policy and proceduresG4S HR policy and proceduresHealth and safety legislationSkillsComputer literate with proficiency in Excel, MS Outlook, and WordExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to collaborate and share informationCustomer-centric mindsetEffective leadership skillsExceptional customer service and relationship management abilitiesStrong risk management and investigative skillsAttributesAbility to work under pressureAdaptability to changing circumstancesAttention to detailDemonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
